Backend Developer
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing scalable and high-performance backend systems and APIs.
In this role, you will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to design and implement backend solutions that power our web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and high-performance backend systems and APIs
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems
- Design and maintain databases and data models
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to plan and execute projects
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, or Java
Strong understanding of databases and data models
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Experience with version control systems, such as Git
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner
Nice to have :
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with message queueing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Contribution to open source projects or personal projects showcasing your skills and passion for backend development.
